The italian town Altamura is world famous for its bread. But what is so special about it? Is it the bakers‘ passion for their craft? Is it the flavourful Durum wheat?
Or is it the sour dough that was already used by the grandmothers?
Fact is: For our new dough, we use the original sour dough from Altamura! The outcome is a very aromatic dough with a soft texture and crispy crust - just like fresh from Nonna‘s bakery!
